British Values Statement – Haslemere Primary School

The DfE have recently reinforced the need ‘to create and enforce a clear and rigorous expectation on all schools to promote the fundamental British Values of: Democracy, The rule of Law, Individual Liberty and Mutual Respect & Tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs.’

At Haslemere we have a ‘Values Curriculum’ of which these key British Values are an integral part of this. Values are part of day to day life at Haslemere, and are also taught through Assemblies, Philosophy lessons and in WOW Time.
